Missing Brown Paper Packages

I am sick over what I am about to post. SICK! I spent so much time and energy on making my gifts for my partner in the exchange. I have been watching her blog and tweets waiting to see her excitement and joy from receiving them. I sent my package from the USPS on December 9th. I figured that would give it plenty of time to get there even with bad weather and holiday rushes. So, I waited and waited and waited. I started to become a little inpatient. I started to wonder if she had gotten it and was just busy with the holidays. So, I waited. Nothing.

I called the USPS just now. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes to speak to someone. The package should have taken no longer than 10 days to get there. I was told that the package is not in the system. WHAT!!! I had to file an investigation which is going to take 23 DAYS!!! WTF!? Now I am really angry that I didn't call about it earlier. I was just hoping it was delayed due to snow etc. I am so sick over this. I will never use the USPS for this type of shipment EVER again! It wasn't cheap either. UGH!

I haven't gotten a package either but I am more upset about the one I sent going rogue. I just hope it shows up on the doorstep of the receiver magically! Or they find it earlier than 23 days.
